Snorkeling & Secret Beaches Half Day
¿Qué harás?
This tour is great for all ages and interests. You can choose to be as active (snorkeling, swimming, going ashore, maybe even doing some tow tubing?) or leisurely (just sitting and watching the world float by) as you desire. We will depart Potrero Bay, and tour the coast, heading first to the south to the white shell beaches of Playa Conchal, and then heading back north past Playa Flamingo, Playas Penca & Prieta, Las Catalinas, and more. Enjoy the beautiful scenery while the Captain keeps an eye out for turtles, dolphins, rays, sea birds, and seasonal wildlife. We will visit what many consider to be one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Costa Rica (Playa L’Amour - accessible only by boat). At Playa L’Amour, you will have the option to go ashore (conditions permitting), swim, snorkel, or stay on the boat and enjoy the scenery and some of the most beautiful water you will ever see.
There you can snorkel in crystal clear water, go ashore and explore, or just float in the water, or stretch out in the shade on the boat and leave the exploring to others! We time our visit to be there when the large “party cats” are not there, ensuring a more peaceful and private experience. We will serve a light lunch aboard the boat before returning to Potrero Bay.
This tour has a little bit of everything:
· Scenic coast tour and wildlife spotting
· Snorkeling (optional) in 1-2 locations
· Go ashore at Playa L’Amour (conditions permitting)
· Light lunch and beverages served
· Less crowded at Playa L’Amour than late afternoon / Golden Hour

All ages welcome! At least one adult is required to be present for every two children ages 10 and under (other than birthday parties - see chaperone requirement under description).
All participants will be required to sign a basic liability waiver; participants under 18 will require the signature of a responsible accompanying adult (does not have to be a parent or legal guardian).
Life vests are required for all inflatables and other sport activities. Life vests are optional for all other times. Passengers who cannot swim are encouraged to take appropriate safety measures (wearing a life vest, remaining seated, advising the captain that you cannot swim, etc.)
Although some of our tours have alcohol served/permitted, these are not "booze cruises." No knocking the booze cruises - they are awesome! But that's not us. If that is what you are looking for, we recommend Boomerang Tours, Lazy Lizard or Manta Ray. They are great tours! For our tours, the following applies to all tours:
- No passenger is to board the vessel inebriated or under the influence of drugs of any kind
- No passenger to consume more than two alcoholic beverages during any tour, whether brought aboard by you or provided by us. (Exceptions may be made for private tours, if discussed and arranged in advance.)
- Children under 18 are not permitted to consume alcohol on board, whether brought by you or provided by us.
- If any passenger, due to being drunk or under the influence of drugs, is determined to be a safety risk to themselves, the other passengers or the crew, the boat will return to port, and the passenger will be billed for the refund cost to any other passengers
- If any passenger is deemed to be an immediate threat, and at the sole discretion of the captain it is determined they are too far from port to return safely, the Coast Guard will be called to remove the passenger.
